Right now, the job market is extremely tight. As I talk to subscribers to the School of Entrepreneurship and contractors across North America, the largest issue that most have is finding good people.

And no matter what, we only hire good people – the best. Anything else just causes problems.

A lack of quality people to hire isn’t only a contractor issue. This is an issue for every business.

Finding tradespeople is difficult enough. But consider that you want to hire a marketing, sales, accounting or other non-trades specialist for your business. You are not only competing with other contractors. You are competing with every business in your area.

That’s a lot of options where someone can work.
