Editor / Videographer

Contractor Nation seeks an Editor / Videographer who wants to be part of a creatively charged team that is committed to growing businesses and inspiring change – for homeowners, business leaders, and colleagues. You will work on a wide variety of projects that serve our international network of more than 300 dealers and create new opportunities for our company.

As a member of our Marketing Department’s in-house video production team you will collaborate with creatives in Motion Design, 3D Animation, Graphic Design, Illustration, Sound Design and Music Composing.

At our unique 9-building campus, you will have access to state-of-the-art video production studios, a 250-seat theater with an A/V Control Room, and an Audio Recording / Music Studio where you will collaborate with sound engineers and composers.

What You Will Do

  • Support the team with idea development, video production and event coverage
  • Collaborate with the team to develop concepts that will help our customers better connect with our products and services
  • Take part in pre-production planning to insure efficient and high-quality work
  • Shoot and edit original content for professional trainings, product marketing and live events
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines under direct supervision and independently
  • Learn and grow - personally and professionally.


  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Commitment to high production standards on all projects
  • Clear understanding of video formatting, editing, and enhancing techniques
  • Video production experience in a professional environment and proficiency industry standard video, lighting and audio equipment
  • Well organized and willing to adapt to new project management workflows
  • Portfolio of work that demonstrates the range of projects you've worked on
  • Open to learning, dedicated to improving, committed to excellence
  • Knowledge of operating the following equipment a plus:
  • Canon C200s, full range of lenses
  • Miller, Vinton and Manfrotto tripods
  • Teleprompter

Work Environment

  • Our full service, on-campus video studio includes studio monitor, teleprompter, green screen and white, black and gray seamless back drops. The studio lighting includes Kino-Flo’s, Diva Lites, Leko’s and Arri tungsten units, as well as a basic grip & expendables package.
