Diesel Mechanic

At Woodford Bros., Inc., we’re hiring a Fleet Maintenance Technician to keep our trucks and company vehicles running strong (without the chaos, late nights, or weekend shifts that come with most shops).

This is a steady, predictable shop role focused primarily on preventative maintenance, with occasional repair and diagnostic work mixed in.

Pay & Schedule

• $25–$40/hour (based on experience)
• 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM schedule
• No nights. No weekends.
• Overtime available (not forced or constant)
• $500 sign-on bonus (3 installments)
• $300 boot/jean allowance (two yearly installments)

What You’ll Be Working On

• Fleet of diesel trucks and Honda CR-Vs
• Some Heavy Equipment
• Primarily preventative maintenance and service work
• Occasional repairs, rebuilds, and diagnostics
• Minimal emergency work (rare, but possible if a crew is down)

Shop & Work Environment

• Heated, organized shop
• Newer, well-maintained fleet

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, lubrication, inspections, etc.)
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues as needed
• Maintain accurate service records
• Keep a clean and safe work area
• Occasional higher-level repairs

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Mechanical experience (diesel preferred)
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Own basic tools (shop support provided where needed)
• Reliable and consistent attendance
